Place the lead rope around the horses neck to give you control of your horse's movement.

Stand next to your horse facing his head and place the nose band over the horses nose. Make sure it's over the horses muzzle.

Bring the strap over the horses head, behind the ears.

Bring the strap through the eye hole in the halter.

Pull the strap through, until it is snug against the horse's head.

Bring the strap around and behind itself to make a circle shape.

Bring the tip of the strap straight down through the circle.

Pull the strap down and tightly to fit snugly against the horses head.  Now you have a halter on completely, correctly, and ready to go.
