Separate leaves and twigs from the stems


Wash the leaves thoroughly

Soak 5-6 bulbs of tamarind in water and leave for 10mins

1 full cup of toor dal for a serving of 2-3 people


3 glasses of water or 500ml

Add water to dal

Pour the washed leaves into the dal

Wash the tomatoes and cut into pieces


Add tomatoes


Cut onions


Green chillies

Salt
