Obtain fresh brussel sprouts from your local farmers market or grocery store.
Remove sprouts from the stalk with you knife
Peel or cut of any discolored leaves. Discard any bad sprouts
Wash the sprouts in a clean sink
I like to cut slits into the tops of each sprouts. Some people like to cut slits in the bottoms
Your sprouts are ready to be cooked! There are 100's of ways to prepare this veg. I sautéed mine in onions and bacon, then braised them in beer, broth and pears and a touch of garlic cream sauce!
