Love chrome fixtures but they get so full of water spots and other kitchen messes.
Rub the fixture down with a soapy cloth, then give it a rinse and dry it well.
Tear off a sheet of wax paper and determine which is the waxy side by scraping your fingernail along it. You should see small wax flakes on your nail.
Run the hot water for a while to heat up the chrome as best as you can. Usually the interior of the fixture is insulated, so it may only get warm, but that's okay.
Start polishing all over. Remember to make sure the tap is dry or you will get streaks.
Look at how water drops bead off of the chrome. This process will help make other dried up kitchen mess easier to clean away with less chance of scratching the chrome.
This also helps to minimize the appearance of those pesky water spots! (they wont entirely disappear, but they'll be tolerated better :)
