STEPS
TOOLS
We'll be using 3 fingers for the D major chord. One finger on the 3rd fret (the space with one the first dot). Two fingers will be on the second fret.
Put your middle finger on the second fret of the thinnest string (string no.1) Use the tip of the finger because its more strong and has the tip of the bone. Will make string sound better and ring out
Your ring finger on the 3rd fret of the 2nd string from bottom. Again, try to use the tip of finger as much as possible
The index finger will be on the 2nd fret of the 3rd string.
Another way of playing the D chord is placing your index finger on the 3 strings, making sure the 3rd and 2nd finger ring out when you put it the 2nd or 3rd finger.
When the index finger is in place, put the 2nd or 3rd finger on the 3rd fret of the 2nd string as shown. That's another way of playing the D chord.
It should look like the same as in the tab.
