Most kids love to draw. These simple games spark their imagination and allow you and the child to draw together.
Game One: take turns adding to the drawing. Example: you draw an eye then it's their turn to add something to the drawing. Then it's your turn to add to the drawing again.
Anything goes here. Let the child add anything they want. 5 arms, 3 eyes, it doesn't matter. You'll be surprised at what the end picture will look like.
Game Two: Make something out of this. Draw a shape and the child has to make something out of that shape. For example if you draw a rectangle the child might turn it into a dog, a house.
When they are finishes turning your shape into something. It's their turn to draw a shape you have to turn into something.
I've played these games with many children and I'm always surprised at what they come up with. Have fun.
