How to play beginning notes on the guitar

begin by looking at the first few frets on the fret board

starting on the second fret ( for all notes), you will be placing one finger on the A string,

one on the upper E,

and one on the bottom E

you now have the fingers for "G"

for "D", place one finger on G,

one in lower E,

and one on B

you now have "D"

next, for "E", place one finger on A,

and one on D

this is E

for A, simply add your third finger to G

this is "C", fingers on 1: B, 2: D, 3: A
