How to play an e major guitar chord

The fingerings will be one finger on the first fret and 2 fingers on the second fret. Frets are those vertical metallic lines you see in the image

Put your index finger on the 3rd string (from the bottom/thinnest). Use the tip of the finger. It's more stronger. Make sure the string ring out.

The third/ring finger is on the 2nd fret (shown in image) on the 4rth string from bottom/thinnest. Use the tip of finger.

Last finger, the second or middle finger is on the 5th string from bottom. It is just above the ring finger.
