This tutorial will focus on preparing the elements for the frame rather than on filling the frame, although I will share tips for how I did these things.  Let's get started!

Remove the back from the shadowbox frame and set aside.  Measure the depth of the frame and cut burlap strips to fit.  Attach with collage or decoupage medium

Use a bone folder or the edge of a ruler to burnish the burlap to the frame, pressing out all air bubbles as you go.  Set aside to dry thoroughly.

Stamp Dear Ruby onto calendar pages from original Place in Time.  If you don't have these, parchment paper would be a good substitute.  Use coffee archival ink to stamp, then emboss with clear powder.

Glue burlap onto the back piece of the shadowbox.  Burnish with bone folder.  Add Autumn stencil using Copper Crackle Texture paste.  Set aside to dry.

Cut 4 pieces of stamped paper to  5" x 7".  Spritz lightly with water.  Rub Tea Dye on flat side (debossed side) of folder. Place paper on raised side (embossed side). Run thru die cut machine.

Heat dry papers and tear into random strips. These will be layered onto the outside edges of the shadowbox using the medium of your choice. Add top layer of medium and set aside to dry completely.

While frame is drying, make flowers.  Swipe inks directly onto craft sheet.  Spritz with water until beads form.  Press stamped side of paper into ink puddles. Die cut with TT flower dies.  Let dry.

Rub edges of frame with Rusty Hinge DI.  Spritz with Eucalyptus Walnut Ink.  Heat dry a little.  Sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat set to seal the inks.

Shape flowers with foam mat and ball stylus.  Sponge edges with ink to create definition.  Layer together with hot glue.  Brush pumpkins, trophy, acorns with copper texture paste. Now we assemble!

Use hot glue to arrange flowers along the left hand side of the frame.  Add buttons to flower centers.  Tuck in mini silverware, acorns and rusty maple leaves.  Add burlap string bow to the side.

Add Spanish Moss to painted/distressed trophy.  Glue pumpkins and acorns in place.

The metal piece is an antique tin curtain tie back.  I painted this with copper texture paste and added vintaj patina to make it match my color palette.  The little box feet add a finishing touch.
