Make buttercream icing!
Cut the tip of your piping bag, but only enough for your piping tip to poke through.
Fold over the top of the bag until the Wilton symbol is folded in half.
Fill with buttercream!
Roll the bag back up
Squeeze the icing down to remove air bubbles. Just like when you're trying to get the last bit of toothpaste! But take care to not allow the icing to come out of the tip.
Roll the top of the bag to close. Some people twist it, but I find it easier to hold the bag when it's rolled. And most times when it's twisted, the icing still comes out the top.
