Making the brine. Water 1 liter + 2TBsp kosher salt + 1TBsp sugar

Sugar: 1 TBsp

2 TBsp

Bakers yeast 10g

Dilute the yeast in a bit of brine then add

Making the brine if you are using yeast: Water 1 liter + 2TBsp kosher salt + 1TBsp sugar + 10g bakers yeast

The jar I am using

2 liters jar

I am using stale Lebanese bread. You can use any normal bread with yeast.

Put the bread in the bottom

Clean the turnips but don't peel. Clean and peel the raw beetroot

Cut the vegetables the way you desire. I cut them as follows







Mix the 2 vegetables and put them in the pickling jar

Add the brine to the maxim. Close and put on a warm corner for at least a week. Then it is ready and fantastic
