I am using stale Lebanese bread. You can use any normal bread with yeast.

Cut the vegetables the way you desire. I cut them as follows

Mix the 2 vegetables and put them in the pickling jar

Add the brine to the maxim. Close and put on a warm corner for at least a week. Then it is ready and fantastic
