You will need: handcuffs, pliers, and bobby pins.

Take a bobby pin.

Open it out straight.

Grab your pliers and scrape/pull off the plastic end pieces.

It now looks like this.

Grasp the bobby pin at the very end with the pliers.

Bend to a 45 degree angle.

Lock the handcuffs. (Single-lock only)

Angle the bent tip of the bobby pin in towards the main body of the handcuff.

Put *gentle* tension on the pick. Rock back and forth slightly and feel for the inside lever to lift.

As you hold the lever up, pull the handcuff open with the other hand.

Congratulations! Practice several more times, then try picking them while you are handcuffed in them. Make sure to keep a handcuff key nearby! That's how you pick single-locked handcuffs.
