Ready position. Feet about shoulder width apart, racquet in dominant hand using the forehand shake grip, knees slightly bent, ready to move towards the shuttle.

Lunge- reach with your dominant hand and foot, hole your racquet arm up, put your weight slightly on your front foot, and pivot and read in the direction on the shuttle.

Catch it high- place racquet under the the dropping shuttle, drop your racquet down and lift to contact shuttle, and lift from your shoulder, bump shuttle over the bet having it be close to the net
