How to paint your nails with no mess

Clean your nails up with acetone as usual

Pull out your petroleum jelly or Vaseline

Apply all around your nail. If you get some on your nail just wipe with a Q-tip

Here's an example of me getting nail polish on my skin. I know I can just clean it up with acetone when I'm done, but it bugs me to do that. Plus I'm a perfectionist and have no patience!
