How to paint witch feet.

These are the paint colors and brushes I used.

First use your chalk or pencil to sketch the witch's feet and legs. Don't be concerned with perfection. It is a witch. I used a sharpie so you can see it easily.

Next, sketch the end of a broom. Angle it and draw it so that the boot overlaps it. Add a horizontal line through the canvas.

We will begin with our lightest color. Paint the broom with yellow. Paint with strokes that represent broom bristles.

Add a few strokes of the brownish color.

Use the yellow on the boot buckles.

I chose for the stockings to be orange and black. Feel free to rearrange your color scheme. Begin painting the color at the ankle so you have contrast between stocking and boot!

Alternate your color leaving spaces for black or another color.

Next paint your background. I chose green.

I used two shades of purple for the ground. I used the lighter purple behind the boots for added contrast.

Now let's start painting with the black.

Paint the boots black.

Outline the legs and broom with black. Add textured strokes to the broom.

Paint a black line between the background and foreground.

Time for spiders! Paint 3-5 black ovals throughout the background.

Use the white paint to add accent marks, highlights, and spider eyes.
