How to paint ombré nails

Select colors. They can be similar or not depending on the look you want.

Taking your lightest color, paint your nails over a base coat

Once nails are dried. Take your makeup sponge (I cut mine to make it smaller and more of the width of my nail) and paint the polishes you have selected on the sponge.

Take your sponge with the nail polish and press it on to your nails until you're happy with the effect. You should be able to apply on multiple nails before having to add more polish to the sponge.

The dark blue color was too dark for me so I patted the lighter color on the sponge over it lightly to blend better.

Once dried, add a topcoat. Once that is dried, use a q-tip dipped in nail polish remover to clean the polish around your nails.

That's it! You will now have fabulous ombré nails. :)
