How to paint crisscross nails

Gather your supplies.

Paint you base coat.

Paint your nails with the lighter color once your base coat dries.

While the gold dries, cut the tape into really thin strips.

Place strips on your skin. It will pick up the oils and make it less sticky. It's also less likely to pull off nail polish.

Place strips in any pattern you please.

Pull off strips and place rhinestones as you please. I used mine to hide my mistakes. Clean up as necessary (i'm really messy, but some people are cleaner).
