Paint on a pale colour

Get paper

Cut

Cut a chevron

Take the nail

Place on the paper chevron

Paint around it with a darker colour

Take a toothpick

Go around the pattern with nail varnish on the toothpick to make it neater

Here is the end result. If you like then you can add a top coat to seal the pattern
