Start by sanding the surface of the tray to slightly rough it up so the paint has something to adhere to. Clean and let dry. Go over surface with a tack cloth to make sure all dust + dirt is removed.

I used the color Red Delicious. The paint already has a primer in it, so there is no need to prime first. Brush on one light coat and let dry.

Apply 2 or more light coats of paint until surface is covered evenly. Let each coat dry before applying the next.

  • 1.0 1-1/2" angled paint brush
  • 1.0 Piece of 100 grit Sandpaper
