Set up your paint tray.

Draw a rectangle on your paper to give your painting a border.

Lightest tint is value 2 on your value scale.

Your medium tint is value 3 on your value scale.

Your darkest shade is value 6 on your value scale.

Your medium shade is value 5 on your value scale.

Repeat step 17 with value 7 (black). This mountain should fill the bottom of your painting space. Congratulations! You created a monochromatic scene!
