How to open a locked bag with a zip using a ballpoint pen

Use this only on your own bags! Useful if you lose the key to your pad lock or if you forget the combination

First move the zips (both of them) to one side

Now push the point of the pen in between the zip's "seam". You may have to push quite hard but don't worry it works and you will be able to reattach them later.

Now just drag the pen along the seam to open. Try to keep at least an inch away from the zips though

To close the seal drag both zips along the seam to reattach them, it may require a tug to close the final part of the zip
