Some animals such as snakes,and insects live in broken or fallen trees.They pick these spots in the fall ,and in the winter for warmth,and protection.
Animals such as tadpoles,frogs,fish,and other animals live in the water.Some of these animals are herbivore,or carnivores.
Birds live in nests.They live up very high in trees to protect their young,and to be safe from dangerous animals on the ground.Another reason why is because they can swoop down,and catch there prey.
Some animals like snakes,armadillos,meerkats, and many more animals,dig or burrow holes in the ground.They live in holes to trap prey when it walks by,and they live in them for a warm place to live.
