How to measure the surface area and volume of a cylinder

This is the cylinder that I will be using.

These are the formulas for area and volume.

This will be the first formula.

I measured the diameter which is 5cm so the R(radius) will be 2.5cm

This is the 2nd formula for area. 2x3.14x2.5x4

The height is 4cm.

This is the second calculation for the area.

Then you add the 2 calculations that you got from the areas and add them together and the sum is your area!!!!!!

This is the formula for the volume...

The you get the pie (3.14) times the radius (2.5) and the radius again for top and bottom! And then the height (4)

If you add all those up then you get 78.5cm which is the volume!!!!!

This is the volume and area of the candle!!!!
