STEPS
TOOLS
To measure solid and grainy things such as flour, use a standardized measuring cup. Remember to scoop more than you need.
After you have scooped the flour, use your flour scraper or your finger to scoop the excess flour.
To measure water or other liquids, pour the correct amount of water into a standardized measuring cup.
If you are to change the temperature of the liquid, be sure to put in the same amount of hot or cold water than that of the volume of the water that you took out.
To correctly measure butter, use the measuring scale on the side of the butter package. Be sure to line up the edge of the butter with the edge of the scale.
Finally, using a butter knife, measure the amount of butter you need via the butter scale. Then cut the butter with the butter knife.
