Place the Bunsen burner on the heatproof mat and don't turn the gas supply on yet

Safety first get some goggles

It is optional you should wear gloves but if you have experience you can decide to wear them or not

Turn the gas tap on

Light it with the match

Make sure the gas supply is not leaking or the Bunsen burner is not got a hole in

Burn the salts

Have fun with the salts
