How to make your room look cute

Everyone's idea of making a room look cute are different. These are just a few things that I have done.

Theme

I have a really small room so kept my colours simple. Pink , white, grey. My wardrobes are white to reflect any light. Simple White bed set with homemade pillow.

Use cotton white curtains with grey on top. This gives privacy but let's light through and then full curtain at night. Keep sill simple, photos and flowers.

Add a few cute pictures. Charity shop (thrift store)

A card that was too beautiful to hide away

On sale. I love a bargain

Large picture , on a main wall put just one big picture, I loved this oversized frame. Picture is done using spray paints and I had it made in Mallorca, holiday treat

Extra storage, cute boxes on top of my units

Crocheted a blanket to put on my bed in the winter.

Everything i used was either from a bargain shop or on sale. Or I made it. Adding personal touches is what makes your room special. As things that mean something to you. Gifts, memories ect

Getting ideas from magazines or shop displays is a good starting point. I then try and find a way of putting my spin on things. Half the fun is finding, restoring, making the things we want.

And making it unique is a great, we might want a style or theme but why have exactly the same. Enjoy your new room xx
