How to make your photos b&w on snapchat

Take a photo of yourself or whatever you want to Snapchat. Next, tap the photo to add a caption.

To make your photo black and white, type in "B&w...". Make sure you type in three periods after your "B&w". The "B" also must be uppercase and the "w" lowercase.

After you type in "B&w..." You can backspace it and type in whatever you want!

Another effect: type in "Negative...", again with three periods afterwards. Just like the black and white effect, you can backspace it and type whatever you want.

Another cool effect is complete the instructions for the negative effect, and then type in "B&w..." Which will give you a negative black and white effect! Cool right?

If you have an android device you can also do a "sepia" effect. Just type in "Sepia...", again with three periods afterwards and an uppercase "S". This doesn't work with any Apple devices, sorry!
