Use a nail strengthener (Avon, \u00a34.00) with natural ingredients twice a week as this will help your nails grow stronger and will also help to make them shine.

Push your cuticles. You can get a special item to do this, ask in boots or any chemist and do it twice a day. This pushes the skin down and makes nails look longer whilst growing them.

If you are a biter, when you feel the urge to bite your nails sit on your hands or do something creative with them to talk your mind out of it.
