How to make your lipstick shade lighter if it is too dark

here is my very dark lipstick.... i hate it... it is more darker than it is in the pic.... but now i have found a way...

so gently dab vaseline to your mouth... :)

and after it, again gently dab the lipstick u are gonna wear.... it comes out much lighter than it's real shade....

here is me wearing that lipstick... sorry that i couldnt get a pic of the shade it is now... love... prinxexxx :)
