Take the cake mix and add only water or oil or milk. And mix

Add vanilla essence and mix

Separate the egg

Like so

Mix the white with a mixer on high until it forms stiff peaks to test hold it up side down over your head. If it falls it wasn't mixed enough.

In the cake mix add the yolk

Fold in the whites with a spatula

Ok now... Bake your cakes or cupcakes.
