How to make woven-bacon blts
I have seen the weaved bacon idea floating around out there and always wanted to give it a try. It worked well and was easy, too. Thought it would be fun to share the how-to here :).

STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Cut the entire pound of bacon in half before you begin.
Line a large cookie sheet with foil. Weave 6 half-slices of bacon together to form a square. Repeat four times.
Make a pseudo-square with the remaining 4 half-slices.
Cover with foil and place in a COLD oven. Turn oven to 400 degrees and bake for 17 - 20 minutes or so. It depends on how quickly your oven comes to temperature & how thick the bacon is.
When the bacon is golden brown, it's done.
Remove bacon from the cookie sheet and drain it on a paper towel-lined plate.
Assemble your BLT. Look how the bacon square fits on the bread - fun!
Serve your sandwich with some chips & enjoy a light lunch or dinner. :)
