Assemble All the supplies! Iron, wax paper, kraft paper, crayons, sharpener, string, scissors, and a pencil 📄✏✂

Cut the wax paper into a 12 by 16 inches rectangle 📄✂

Fold in half 🙏

And unfold 👏

Select the crayon colour of your choice, and begin to make shavings of them from the sharpener ✏

These are the colours I used! Reds, oranges, and pinks :) ✏✏✏

Cover half the wax paper in the shavings and distribute evenly, but don't make them too thick! I made mine a bit too thick and it took me way longer to melt! I would recommend almost half this amount!

Fold the open edges about 1/2 an inch, to prevent the melted crayon from melting out! 👋👐👏

Put your kraft paper underneath, make sure to cover your whole working area! 📜📜📜

Turn on your iron and use at medium-high heat, iron all throughout the paper and make sure not to miss any areas! Do this until the shavings have all melted! Like LIQUID melted! ☀💨💦

Draw hearts on your paper and cut, if the crayon wax comes out crumbly, iron again! ✏💕✂

Attach thread or string and hang in front of a window! They look SO GOOD! I can't even emphasize it, this picture does them no justice! (The camera can't pick up the lighting and focus on the hearts!)
