As always, start by gathering your ingredients. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Add 1 cup of 110 degree water to your bowl, dissolve the 1 teaspoon sugar. Add the yeast and let it sit until it starts foaming.

Add your flour to the bowl and mix.


Coat the dough with additional flour until smooth.


Add some olive oil to a bowl and coat all sides of the dough.

Let stand covered for 30 mins at room temperature.

30 mins later

Coat your pie pan with olive oil.

Cut dough in half.

Roll to desire thickness.

Trim edges or use the excess by stuffing the crust with cheese.

Prepare your favorite toppings.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until desired cooking level is reached.
