Preheat your oven to 450°F

Wash, cut and peel your sweet potato.

Place all pieces on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Place in the oven for 30 mins.

After the oven turn it off and let the pieces cool and then place in a bowl or straight into the food processor.

Now turn oven back on and preheat to 350°F.

Combine all ingredients into the food processor. Blend.

Keep blending till smooth and then transfer to large mixing bowl.

Then add flour to sweet potato purée. 1 cup of flour at a time mixing each time you add. I added 2 1/2cups

Keep combining the flour and purée.

When you can pinch the dough and it holds you can knead into a ball.

Sprinkle all-purpose flour lightly on the clean countertop or board and place the dough on it.

Kneed and pack the dough into a ball.

Then roll it out.

So I didn't have a dog bone shaped cookie-cutter so I improvised and used to little heart shaped cookie cutters. I left some space in between them for the middle of the dog bone shape.

Dog bone shaped almost ready.

Then please all pieces onto a parchment paper lined tray.

More dog bones In the making.

Though the dog bones were cute idea I had limited time to finish creating so I just left the heart-shaped dog treats.

Put in the oven for 20 minutes. When finished let cool for five minutes.

I found that I had more pieces using the heart shaped cookie cutter instead of making the dog bone shaped biscuits.
