Take the 7 beans and carefully cut a slit in them. take care not to cut all the way through. Open them carefully and flatten the beans on a cutting board..
Carefully take a spoon and scrape out the seeds of the vanilla bean going in one direction, which is easier. after scraping every bean, take the spoon and wipe off the seeds on the storage container
please cut the Empty Vanilla beans into about inch long pieces, add to the sugar mix Store in an airtight container Strain the bean shells out of the sugar bean HOME MADE VANILLA SUGAR
store at this stage strain after 3-4 weeks
