Mix flour, 1/2 cup of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar ( packed) together. Stir until crumbly.
I use a cookie sheet (10 x 15) lined with foil.
Pour mixture on cookie sheet.
Press down firmly and evenly on the sheet.
Sprinkle pecans on crust.
Caramel mixture- combine sugar, butter over medium heat.
Stir constantly until mixture starts to boil.
Boil for another minute.
Pour caramel over pecans and crust.
Put in pre-heated oven(350*). Bake for 18-20 minutes.
Ready to come out! Sprinkle chocolate chips as soon as pan is removed from oven.
Allow to cool. Cut up in whatever sizes you want. It doesn't matter because they won't last that long!
