STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Here are the ingredients :)
First preheat your oven to 375F.
Get your trusty mixer out. Mine is many years old but works so well ;)
Drop your softened butter sticks into your mixer bowl.
Then turn on the mixer to cream it up a little.
Get your sugars measured out, 3/4 cup granulated and 3/4 light brown.
I used a Pyrex measuring cup for both.
Here's the light brown.
Now add the sugars to your mixer bowl.
Turn on the mixer and blend the sugars with the butter.
Next you need to add two teaspoons of vanilla extract to the sugar and butter. I only had a 1/4 teaspoon spoon so I had to add eight of those in. Not sure where my spoons disappeared to...hmmm.
Now you need to mix that vanilla in!
Mixer in action... Ooooh Ahhhhhh :)
Add in your eggs, 1 at a time, so each can incorporate into the rest of the mixture.
Mixing mixing mixing.....
It's time for the flour, baking soda, and salt. First measure out 2 and 1/4 cups flour and put into a seperate bowl.
This is the second cup being added to the bowl.
Now for the 1/4 cup of flour to add.
It's now ready for the baking soda.
You need a teaspoon of this baking soda, and since I only had that 1/4 teaspoon spoon, I added 4 of those.
Baking soda added.
Next comes 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Salt added.
Now it's time to mix it up and add to the mixer mixture... Say that ten times really fast! Aha I bet you can't without getting tongue tied ;)
Add in the flour, a little at a time, so you can give the dough a chance to thicken up slowly.
Mixer mixing....
Ah that's what it should look like!!!!
Now for the triple chips! I measured out, roughly, 1/2 cup of each kind, but use as much as you like ;)
Pour those tasty chocolate morsels into your dough...
And mix them in! Resist temptation to eat this dough because it has raw ingredients in it. Must. Cook. First. :)
Spoon it on to the cookie sheet, one mound at a time.
Here's some ready for the oven :)
Put them into your preheated 375F oven for 10 minutes, 8 if you like them a little lighter.
Here they are, ready to be put on a cooling rack.
Ooh, I'm too impatient to wait, so...
Here's my cookie...
Breaking it open... Look at those yummy gooey chocolate chips! Yummmmmm....
Delicious!!!!!!!
