Melt oil and butter in pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until garlic and butter starts to brown.
Cook cavatappi. Drain.
Slice 2 cheese sticks and quarter however many cherry tomatoes you like.
Pull off a few sprigs of fresh basil.
Place pasta in a serving dish and add oil, butter, and garlic mixture. Stir well.
Add cheese and tomatoes. Stir.
Break basil in small pieces and scatter across dish. Add salt and pepper if desired. Serve and enjoy!
- 2.0c Cavatappi pasta, cooked and drained
- 2.0Tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 2.0Tbsp Butter
- 2.0tsp Chopped garlic
- 2.0 Mozzarella cheese sticks, sliced
- Cherry tomatoes, quartered
- Salt and pepper to taste
