How to make tie dye cupcakes

Follow the instructions to make the cake mix.

Make the cake mix.

Evenly separate the cake mix into six bowls.

Follow the directions on the food coloring box to color each bowl of cake mix: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.

Once each bowl of mix is colored, starting with the red cake mix, put one spoonful of batter into each baking cup. Put enough batter in each baking cup to use up all the red cake mix.

Then go on to the orange cake mix. Do not stir the colors together!

Then the yellow.

Then the green.

Then the blue.

Then the purple.

Follow the directions on the cake mix box to determine how long to bake the cupcakes.

When the cupcakes are done, take them out of the oven and let them cool. If you are planning on decorating them, let them cool completely.

Decorate if you wish and enjoy!
