The ingredients I use.
First, melt the butter completely by itself.
Then mix in icing sugar. Swirl or stir the mixture until the sugar is dissolved. Then add the oil.
Add your kernels. Oil should just cover them. Ensure stove is on heat setting 6.
Kernels will take approximately 5 or 6 minutes to pop.
You may have to shake the pot now and then during cooking, the added sugar can cause the kernels to stick and burn to the pot.
If you are after a very sweet and buttery result, increase the butter and icing sugar by a tablespoon or more, just ensure you maintain it's liquidity in order to prevent burning. Enjoy!

- 3 tablespoons icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
