How to make the 3d origami magic circle into a starburst

Make two 3D origami magic circles (see my previous guide). I recommend a more sturdy paper for this one. My thin origami paper one feels fragile.

Open one & close the other as shown.

Close up the closed one a little & put it in center of open one as shown.

Push down on the closed one a little bit to get it into its normal shape like so.

Tweak it by wiggling it around a bit & there you go! A 3D starburst! Take a needle n thread & run it thru bottom tip, up thru 2 center ones, & out thru top tip to hang. Knot bottom w/ bead or tassel.
