STEPS
TOOLS
Start off by stamping & cutting poinsettias in different sizes on white cardstock and vellum. (I heat embossed & foiled the images in gold to add more shine to them.)
Cut leaves from gold faux suede leaf ribbon. You will need from 5 to 10 leaves per flower, depending on how much you want to layer them.
Spritz the leaves with water.
Scrunch the leaves and let dry. Optional: Use a heat gun to dry faster.
Adhere 5 gold leaves together shaping them like a poinsettia. Use a permanent adhesive. Press and let dry.
Finally adhere the stamped flowers on top of the ribbon flowers. You can also attach stamped flowers to the back to make the poinsettias larger and fuller.
Alternate stamped vellum with stamped cardstock flowers to give the poinsettias more texture.
Embellish the center of the flowers as desired. Find more details for this Christmas canvas on my blog: https://goo.gl/vE48CP
