About 4 cups of coffee or your preference
2 tbs of your source of healthy fat, the ratio should be 1tsb of fat to 2 cups of coffee
Stir it up until the fat liquifies
The fat will stay on the top, but add your choice of sweetener...cane sugar is a good choice, but I use protein powder.
The reason for adding the fat is to prolong the metabolism of the caffeine. It'll extend your "buzz" and also help reduce the crash feeling. The fat also will serve as a good source of healthy cals!
- Your choice of coffee, preferably small farm grown
- Source of healthy fat, ie unsalted butter
- Source of sweetener
