First, decide what base colours you are going to paint your mini pumpkins. I started off by painting two pumpkins black, two pumpkins white, and one pumpkin gold.
Wait for the first coat to dry, then paint a second coat. Once the bases are dry, start drawing small gold circles on the black and white pumpkin, and small black circles on the gold pumpkin.
For the two left over pumpkins, I painted the indented ridges gold. Using a thin paint brush, I outlined the ridges, then with a thicker brush, I painted every other ridge gold.
