STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Before preparing any meal, wash your hands with soap and warm/hot water. Always wear a clean apron and tie hair back if you have long hair.
First, preheat the oven to a high broil and prepare the broiler pan. Line the bottom of the pan with foil and oil the top portion, this will prevent the wings from sticking.
Next, you will rinse the chicken wings with cold water. Place paper towels on a separate pan, line up the wings on the pan and pat dry.
After, you place the wings on the broiler pan and put in the oven. When broiling, make sure to leave the oven door cracked open to let some heat escape and prevent your wings from burning.
Broil the wings for 7-12 minutes on each side. To check if they're ready, you can put the meat thermometer into the meatiest part of a wing, the temperature should be 165 to know if they're ready.
While the chicken wings are broiling, you can start preparing the sauce.
Add butter in a saucepan over medium/high heat. Add 2c of hot sauce, 1c of honey, 1tsp of cayenne pepper, seasonings; black pepper and garlic salt altogether. Stir until blended and bring to a simmer.
When the chicken wings are ready, put in a separate bowl. Pour the sauce over the wings and enjoy!
