In a pot add 1Cup of water, 2 tsp. of salt, 3/4 cup sugar.
Bring to a boil.
Lower flame and add 1 Cup of milk.
Slowly add 1 1/2 Cup of Goya Fine Cornmeal.
Mix until it thickens.
This is the consistency you are looking for, turn off and let it cool for 10 minutes.
Wet your hands with warm water, and grab enough to form in the shape of sticks.... Not to thick not to thin.
Now add oil to a pan, enough oil to deep fry or they will stick, let the oil get hot and begin frying.
Fry till golden brown.
