Got some left over fruits in the fridge so we'll make easy scone out of this
Tip get rid of the green thing after you wash each and every strawberries so know which one needs ur attention.
Dice the strawberries the same way you would to an onion. Vertical, horizontal then across
Preheat oven to 220c
U dont really need to cube them this neat but its a good habit.
Whisk the dry ingredients together.
Lazy to cube butter? Just scoop them up and drop.
If you have hot hand, use pastry cutter to blend. If not hand!
Add fruit and yogurt and half a lemon zest
Pam spray the tray.
Mix and roll dough into one big ball
Revert onto the pan
Pat around to shape things up
Cut into 8 pieces
Add some contrast colour
Bake for 15 - 20 min
Add half the zest to lemon juice
Add icing sugar. (I know thats a lot of sugar.) that y our scone isnt so sweet itself.
Mix up till smooth
Drizzle while still hot
Serve
- 1.0c Strawberries
- 2.0c Flour
- 2.0tsp Baking powder
- 1/2tsp Baking soda
- 5.0Tbsp Butter
- 3/4c Yogurt
- 1/4c Sugar
- 1.0c Icing sugar
- 1/4c Lemon juice
- Lemon peels
- 1.0pch Salt
