Cover 7x9 pan in wheat thin or similar crackers.
Sugar and butter on medium heat.
Handful of nuts.
Crush with a rolling pin.
Melt together and stir until sugar and butter bond and thicken (only takes a couple of minutes!)
You will be able to draw wooden spoon through the mixture like this, stir a few extra times and pour over cracker mixture.
Sprinkle nuts if using.
Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and key sit for a moment.
Add a bit of salt.
Using the back of a spoon, smooth chocolate chips as they are now melted and put the whole works in the refrigerator until toffee is hardened.
Done! Break into pieces.

- 1.0c Brown sugar
- 1.0 Handful cashews or nuts crushed if desired
- 1.0 Handful chocolate chips
- 1.0pch Salt
