How to make stick puppets from scrap wood

These are so simple, just grab any random scraps of wood from your projects. Wood should be at least 1/2 inch wide. I make a lot of things from pine, so always have nice bits leftover.

Paint up your wood to look like whatever you like. My shapes always seemed to know what they should be! When dry, drill a small hole for the dowel put in a dab of glue and set the dowel into the hole.

Once the paint and glue are dry, shellac or Varathane. Use kid friendly ingredients only.
